Dr. J. Courtney and Sally Selvy

"Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made, Were every stalk on earth a quill, And every man a scribe by trade; To write the love of God above Would drain the ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain the whole, Though stretched from sky to sky." (From the hymn The Love of God, by Frederick M. Lehman) The same words could apply to Jim McClure. We all have stories we could share about our relationship with him and all the fun and laughter that punctuated his life. His life was filled with so much love, for his beloved Angele, for his children and grandchildren, his friends, his church and his Lord, his community, and all the many who entered the doors of the law office seeking his help and advice. There would be no end to the words that could be written or shared about him--we would run out of ink and paper! His life was a great adventure and we were privileged to share it for awhile. His adventure is continuing, in a new place, with a new body, and with the loved ones who were waiting to greet him. Indeed, he has experienced the love of God to the fullest! Our love and condolences to each one of you, whether family or friend. We all feel a loss and emptiness in this time of sorrow. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalms 30:5
