Dear Sweet Family, we are so very sorry not to be able to make the visitation or services of MS Durene, but just not possible. In November, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, then in February, I had a partial mastectomy. I have been back and forth to doctors since. Thursday just happens to be one of those days. Thanks to our wonderful Lord and Savior, the doctors feel they have removed all of the cancer, but keeping an eye out on it. Please know that our thoughts, love and prayers are with each of you. As you already know, MS Durene was a very unique and special lady. No one ever needed doubt her love for the Lord. She displayed it daily. We would love to have seen each of you as it has been so long since I have seen some of you. Sonny, you know you are extra special and we love you with all our heart. You are responsible for this couple to have had the pleasure of celebrating 40 years together this past December. We can truly say it has been a wonderful 40 years and blessed with 2 fabulous kids and 2 extra fabulous grandsons. God is soooooo good.
