Samuel Ferrell Hawkins, 20, of Como, MS, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Samuel was born August 21, 1995 in Memphis, TN to Stanley and Jean Hawkins. He was an active member of Lifepoint Church in Senatobia, MS and a student of the HVAC Program at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia. He loved sports, especially baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his friends and family.Samuel will be remembered as a kind, friendly person who was a devoted son, brother, grandson, boyfriend and friend.

He is survived by his parents, Stan and Jean Hawkins of Como, MS; two sisters, Alison Hawkins and Annabelle Hawkins and one brother, Guy Hawkins, all of Como, MS; and his grandmother, Bobbie Ross Loftin of Mt. Pleasant, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Lifepoint Church, 4294 Hwy 51 S., Senatobia, MS 38668. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
