Mr. Newton, formerly of Oxford, MS, passed away on December 3, 2012, at his home in Senatobia. He is survived by two daughters, Hazel Ferguson (Neil) of Surfside Beach, SC and Mary Beth Black (Larry) of Senatobia, MS; two sons John Newton (Linda) of High Point, NC and Charles Newton (Cindy) of Eustis, FL; one sister, Margaret White of Sumter, SC; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy Newton.
