Quebel Potts Swindle, 88, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.

Mrs. Swindle, a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Batesville, loved going to church and serving God. She enjoyed cooking and was devoted to her family, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Clyde Swindle (Pat) of Greenville, MS and Gary Frank Swindle of Batesville; two sisters, Ila Ree Marsh of Middleton, TN and Esther Quay Neal of Germantown, TN; two brothers, Jimmy Potts and Van Potts, both of Batesville, MS; 13 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, The Late Frank Edward Swindle; her daughter, The Late Irma Helen Swindle Cross; her son, The Late Hubert Edward Swindle; and her parents, The Late Jimmy Avant Potts and Bertha Maggllene Johnson Potts.
