James Douglas Morris, 58, of Sara, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Mr. Morris was born on May 21, 1955, in Tunica, MS to James Wesley Morris and Marjorie Wright Morris. He was a member of Church of Christ, a loving husband and father and has always been his daughter’s “hero”. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Nancy Morris of Sarah, MS; one daughter, Tonya Morris of Hernando and one sister, Rochelle Knight of Moore, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents. . In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made in his memory and sent to Crockett Church of Christ, HWY 4 W, Senatobia, MS 38665.
