George Edward Crocktt, 66, of Senatobia, MS passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2014 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

He was a former sales representative for Tucker Manufacturing in Batesville, MS, a member of Senatobia Church of Christ and a longtime member of the Senatobia Historical Society. Mr. Crockett is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Marilyn Dean Crockett of Senatobia, MS; one daughter, MacKenzie Crockektt McGehee (Neil) of Memphis, TN; one son Andy Crockett of Senatobia, MS; and one brother Melvin Crockett of Como, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elaine Carter Crockett and James Floyd Crockett. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Tyro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions may be made toward final expenses. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
