Dr. E.W. Tucker, Jr., 79, of Senatobia, MS, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Dr. Tucker was born on February 6, 1935 to The Late Emile Lightsey Tucker and Elliott W. Tucker, Sr. A retired physician, he loved teaching and sharing his skills with those seeking experience in the medical field. He loved spending time at the beach and particularly enjoyed hosting and entertaining family and friends.

"Buddy," as he was affectionately referred to, is survived by his wife, Janet Sexton Tucker of Senatobia, MS; four daughters, Elizabeth Emile Mulvey of Berkeley, CA, Nicole Cora Tucker of Memphis, TN, Samantha Elaine Moore of Olive Branch, MS and Stacy Segman of Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Mark Allen Tucker and Hugh Andrew Tucker, both of Olive Branch, MS; one sister, Emile Rodwell and one brother, John W. Tucker, both of Aiken, CA; and seven grandchildren. Dr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Elliott W. Tucker, III and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 2pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Sunday from 1-2pm. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
