Jean was born on January 31, 1938 in Senatobia to the late Nellie T. Sealy and Edward B. Sealy. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS since January 31, 1957, and she served her Lord faithfully and joyfully. She retired from Northwest Mississippi Community College - DeSoto Center in June, 2004. Jean leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory which includes her son, Edward L. "Eddie" Hadskey (Debbie); her daughter, Cindy L. Hayes; and three precious grandchildren, Melissa and John Hadskey (Kathy Anne) and Shelby Hayes, all of Senatobia, MS; her sisters-in-law, Margie Hadskey of Coldwater, MS and Joanne Johnson of Senatobia, MS; and a host of loving forever friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Russell Hadskey; her brothers, Bill Sealy and Richard Sealy; her sisters, Shirley Ann Vanstory and Mary Nell Collins; and her brother-in-law Dale Hadskey.
