Brenda Joyce Huggins Clark, 70, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her home in Batesville. She was born on August 24, 1946 in Memphis, TN to Joe and Hazel Huggins.

She was a Baptist and a true southern lady. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was also a good listener and was always available when her family needed her. As a registered nurse, which was her “true” calling, she touched the lives of many people through her compassionate dedication and selfless service.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her loving family which includes her husband of 52 years, William (A.C.) Clark of Batesville; two daughters, Shari Case (Troy) of Sardis and Heather Rippee (Ragan) of Oxford; one son, Mike Clark (Lana) of Oxford, N.Y.; two brothers, Michael A. Huggins of Memphis, TN and Anthony Huggins of New Orleans, LA; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home in Batesville. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home, preceding the services. Interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
