Mrs. Corrie R. Hardin Scallorn, 90, of Sardis, MS, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi in Oxford.

Mrs. Scallorn was born on September 20, 1926 in Batesville, MS to The Late Susie Wilson Hardin and Fletcher Hardin. A retired retail cashier, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cared for and loved her family deeply. She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church where she was very active, especially in the W.M.U. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Scallorn is survived by her daughter, Beverly Fullerton (Randy) of Sardis, MS; five grandchildren, Christie Cox, Jesse Fullerton, Adam Fullerton, Joshua Scallorn and Matthew Scallorn; four great-grandchildren; her niece, Lana Johnson and her nephew, Harold Tapley. She was preceded in death by her husband, of over 50 years, Layman Scallorn; her son, Paul Scallorn; her parents, one sister, and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2pm in Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis, MS, with Rev. Charlie Simmons officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sardis United Methodist Church, 237 S. Main Street, Sardis, MS 38666.
