Obituary for Wesley F Tramel
Wesley Fredric Tramel, Jr. 61, of Batesville, MS, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Panola Medical Center in Batesville. He was born on July 31, 1959 to Launa Moorehead Tramel and Wesley F. Tramel, Sr.
Wesley loved the outdoors and nature, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed drag racing, watching old western movies and was fond of antiques. He will be remembered as a very good-hearted person.
He is survived by his family, which includes one daughter Melissa Carol Tramel, of Victoria, TX; two sons, Matthew Tramel and Nathaniel Tramel, both of Batesville, MS; one sister, Maxine McCollum of Sardis, MS; one brother, Terry Tramel of Batesville, MS and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Faye Clawson, and two brothers, Jerry Tramel and Wendell Tramel.
A memorial service will be coordinated by the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
