Obituary for Sybil Rose Nowell (Ingram)
Sybil Rose Ingram Nowell, 75, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, in Southaven, MS. She was born on March 14, 1948, in Laurel, MS to Mae Reeves Ingram and Lester Ingram.
Sybil loved the Lord and was a beloved member of Solid Rock Assembly of God church, where she faithfully served in the monthly food pantry. She was also a member of the WOW (Widows of Worth) Ladies group, that she dearly loved. As much as she loved her church, friends and family, it was her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter who captured her heart.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Chris Nowell (Jodi) of Senatobia, MS; two sisters, Chloe Ingram King of Prentiss, MS, and Ruth Ingram Lewis of Manson, WA; two brothers, David Ingram and Steve Ingram, of Laurel, MS; three grandchildren, Ariana, Zach, and Bethany; and one great-grandchild, Lorelei. Sybil is preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn Nowell; one sister, Janet Pitts; two brothers Jerry Ingram and Vernon Ingram; and her parents, Mae and Lester Ingram.
