Obituary for Phillip Michael Gardner

Phillip Michael “Mike” Gardner, 62 , of Senatobia, MS went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, December 26, 2021, after a long illness.

Michael was born in Memphis, TN, on June 26, 1959, to Phil and Marlyn Gardner. He was a native of Memphis, TN and a 1977 graduate of Briarcrest Christian School. In 1980, Michael married Patsy Means. Several years later, in 1996, Michael and Patsy moved to Senatobia, where they raised their family. Michael was a member of First Baptist Church in Coldwater. He was a diesel mechanic, by trade, but could fix anything. He enjoyed going to the gun range with his family and watching Alabama football. Michael loved helping people, but most of all, Mike loved his family! He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, and friend.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Patsy Means Gardner, of Senatobia; one son, Phillip Robert Gardner (Amy) of Senatobia; one daughter Audrey Gardner Wilson (John), of Madison, MS; one step grandson, Gunner Foster of Senatobia; one sister, Kathie Gardner Smith of Memphis; , one nephew Brian Smith and one niece Kayley Soltau; and his beloved Chesapeake Bay retriever, Karlie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Marlyn Gardner.

Visitations will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS. A Funeral Service for Mr. Gardner will be at 11 a.m., on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS. Interment will follow at Senatobia Memorial Cemetery.
