Obituary for Peggy Ann Manning

Peggy Ann Manning Rich, 75, passed away, in Hernando, MS, on Friday, September 30, 2022. Peggy was born on September 2, 1947, in Senatobia, MS, to Alton Ray Manning and Hattie Christine Yount Manning.

She loved nature and all of God’s animals. Peggy had a green thumb and could make anything grow! She especially enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden. She enjoyed watching tv, especially NCIS and Law and Order and in her spare time, enjoyed listening to music of all kinds, but Don Gibson’s was her favorite. She loved to cook and banana pudding was everybody’s favorite. Peggy was devoted to her family and her God.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, which included one daughter, Jennifer Renee Rich and her wife, April, of Southaven, MS; one son, Nathan Scott and wife Kandi of Hernando, MS; three sisters, Phyllis Corothers of Lambert, MS, Dovia Huyge and Shirley Packard both of Kalamazoo, MI and Judith Parault of Paquemine, LA; six grandchildren, Matthew Rich, Noah Rich, Austin Rich, Chistine Cook “CC”, Ashton Richard, Justin O’Brian. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Douglas R. Manning.

A memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held from 10 a.m.to 12 p.m., on Saturday, October 22, 2022. at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home - Senatobia Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society and Tate County Humane Society.
