Obituary for Paul Dewayne Strickland
Paul Dewayne Strickland, 56, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- DeSoto, in Southaven, MS. He was born on February 20, 1967, in Memphis, TN, to Judy Kay Carpenter Strickland and Gerald Wayne Strickland. Paul loved the outdoors and was an avid crappie fisherman and deer hunter. He passed that love on to his children, and grandchildren, whom he adored. Paul also enjoyed cooking on the grill.
Left to cherish his memory, is his daughter, Hope Williams (Jesse) of Ripley, MS; two sons, Neil and Nick Strickland of Sulligent, AL; his mother, Judy Pate of Coldwater, MS; one sister Dana Cecil of Coldwater, MS; and two grandchildren, Avery Scott and Slade Williams of Ripley, MS. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Wayne Strickland and one sister, Lisa Strickland.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced by the family, at a later time.
