Obituary for Natalie Belle "Nat-Nat" Childers (Childers)

Natalie Belle Childers, three years old, went to be with Jesus, on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Olive Branch, MS.

“Nat-Nat”, as she was lovingly called, was born on May 13, 2020, to Naomi Childers, of Coldwater, MS and immediately became the heart of her entire family. During her three short years on earth, she touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends. Nat-Nat was, one of God’s unique creations! She loved everyone and would walk up to strangers and tell them about Jesus and that “everything is gonna be OK.!” She was smart, ambitious, and ready for anything! She never met a stranger. Her smile, hugs and kisses would brighten everyone’s day, as she spread love and laughter wherever she went! She leaves us smiling though our tears, as we hear her sweet voice telling us to “love Jesus and be good to each other.”

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, which includes her mother, Naomi Childers of Coldwater; her grandparents, Mike and Rachael Self of Coldwater, MS; her great-grandparents, Tommie Fernstrom, of Coldwater, MS and Joel and Grace Childers of Southaven, MS; one aunt, Abby Pace; three uncles, Jacob Childers (Katelyn), Caleb Childers and James Self; cousins, Kaelyn, Charlotte, and Mercy Childers; and her very special friend, Papa Bennie Lewers of Senatobia. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joel Lance Childers and Daniel W. Fernstrom “Papaw Dan”.

A funeral service, celebrating Natalie’s life, will be held at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home – Senatobia Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home – Senatobia Chapel. Interment will be at Looxahoma Church of Christ Cemetery, immediately following the service.

The family of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements and serve the Childers family during this difficult time.
