Obituary

Mary Jane Boswell Black, 80, passed away at her residence in Como, MS, on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Mrs. Black was born in Tippah County on May 3, 1939, to Birdie and Ras Drewery. She is survived by her husband, Bobby M. Black, Sr. of Marion, AR; one daughter, Ginger Besecker (Roger), of Jacksonville, FL.; one step-son, Bobby Black, Jr. (Lisa); one step-daughter, Cynthia Ivy (Phillip) of Marion, AR; three grandchildren, Shawna Scott (Jeremy), Drew Rowland, and Clay Rowland (Jenny); two step-grandchildren, Dixie Ivy and Tyler Black; three great-grandchildren, Sierra Withers (Richard), Cody Scott and Scarlett Rowland; one great-great grandchild, Garrett Withers; one niece, Shirley Gross (Robert) of Como, MS. She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Rowland, two sisters and two brothers: and her parents. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
