Obituary for Margaret Ann Ellis Jones (Kyzer)
Margaret Ann Ellis Jones, 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Senatobia Health and Rehab. She was born on September 28, 1932 in Palestine, AR to the late Mary Worthen and Gordon Clay Kyzer.
Mrs. Jones was a charter member of Faith Chapel Holiness Church. She was a wonderful cook, who enjoyed raising her vegetable garden, and her family remembers her love of gospel songs. She will be remembered as a devoted, kind and loving wife, mother, and doting grandmother, second only to her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family of six sons, Talmadge Ellis (Jennifer) of Killen, AL, Gordon Ellis (Donna) of Coldwater, MS, Philip Ellis (Shirley) of Coldwater, MS, Don Ellis (Tara) of Olive Branch, MS, Danny Jones of Booneville, MS, and Dexter Jones of Coldwater, MS; two brothers, Charles Kyzer and Arlie Kyzer; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Talmadge Ellis and Clarence Rayburn Jones; seven sisters, Robbie Whilhite, Janice Blunt, Sue May, Lela Holloway, Sammie McNair, and Lucille Hudgins; and one brother Donald Kyzer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Faith Chapel Holiness Church in Senatobia. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 1-2 pm in the church. A private burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Chapel Holiness Church Fund. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has been entrusted with services.
