Mrs. Lillian Still Brown, 93, of Sardis, MS passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Sardis Community Nursing Home in Sardis, MS.
Mrs. Brown was born on March 14, 1926 in Panola County, MS to The Late Mary Palmertree Still and Dee Still. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sardis and is remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired as an operator from South Central Bell after serving over 35 years.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Billy Lambert of Sardis, MS; her granddaughter, Dallas King (Scottie) of Sardis, MS; her grandson, Dennis Lambert (Judy) of Florida; three great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Quitman Brown and her parents.
Mrs. Brown's life will be celebrated with services in the Sardis Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 3 pm. Interment will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery near Batesville. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 pm - 3 pm.
