LeRoy Powers, 82, of Abbeville, MS, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. LeRoy was born on August 25, 1938, in West Virginia to Zelma and Archie Powers. He was a God-fearing family man, who deeply loved his family and friends. He was a good mechanic, and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and working with his hands. LeRoy was very generous and giving to all in need and will be greatly missed.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving family, which includes one daughter, Vuanita Lynn Powers of Abbeville; one son Patrick Lee Powers, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Powers. one brother Oscar Powers, and his parents. The family will have a memorial at a later time. Dickins Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
