Obituary for Kenny Ray Crawford
Kenny Ray Crawford, 66, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 at his home in Sardis, MS.
Kenny was born in Memphis, TN on February 24, 1954 to Johnnie Smith and Kenneth Ray Crawford. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a talented musician, who played the base guitar and drums. Throughout the years, Kenny was a member of several bands, which included The Delta Rockers and The Brown Family Band. He will be remembered as a generous, kind and caring person.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, which includes his wife of forty-seven years, Vicki Stewart Crawford of Sardis, MS; one son, Lee Crawford of Nashville, TN; and two brothers, Gary Smith of Searcy, AR and Timmy Turner of Sardis, MS. He was preceded in death by three sisters; one brother and his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery near Sardis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Love All Paws Animal Rescue in Sardis.
