Obituary for Johnny Leno Ashley
Johnny Leno Ashley, 63, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Panola Medical Center, in Batesville, MS. Johnny was born on March 13, 1959, to Patsy Caroline Layton and John Mack Ashley.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved the Smoky Mountains, hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed taking his grandchildren on outdoor adventures. He dearly loved his family and was especially devoted to his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family which includes two daughters, Stephanie Janeen Davis (Ronald) of Goshan Springs, MS and Marleno Dee Unruh (Gerald) of Columbus, MS; two sons, Johnathan Dustin Ashley (Christy) of Batesville, MS and Marcus Mason Ashley (Tyffany) of Decatur, TX; and former spouse, Margaret Ann Watson of Pelahatchie, MS. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Taylor Danielle Copeland and his parents.
