Obituary for JoAnn Pinion Chapman
Ms. JoAnn Pinion Chapman, 75, of Crenshaw, MS passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, MS.
Ms. Chapman was born on January 21, 1944 in Quitman County, MS to The Late Berthina Eugenia Pinion Chapman and Joseph Benjamin Chapman. She grew up in a large family full of love and devotion for one another. She was a wonderful sister who loved her nieces and nephews dearly. Ms. Chapman attended Hollywood Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her brothers, Stanley Chapman (Martha) of Olive Branch, MS and Herbert Joe Chapman of Crockett, MS; her sister, Kaye Ritter of Batesville, MS; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at 2:30 pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Hartzell officiating. Interment will follow in Longtown Cemetery near Crenshaw. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
