Obituary for Jimmy Lee Green
Jimmy Lee Green, 59, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2023, at his home in Pope, MS. He was born in Marks, MS, on March 29, 1964, to Joe Hardy Green and Barbara Frances Johnson Green. Jimmy had a joking nature. He was a mechanic and enjoyed fixing things. He loved the outdoors and music, especially rock and roll. He also enjoyed farming and fixing things.
Mr. Green is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Brinson (Justin) of Enid, MS, Jennifer Wolfe (Brady), of Cascilla, MS, and Samantha Brownlee (Trevor)of Brazil, MS; two sisters, Sherry Ragon (Mike) of Pope, MS and Fay Robbins (Randy) of Moon Lake, MS; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Brazil Baptist Church Cemetery in Tutwiler, MS. Interment will immediately follow the service at the cemetery.
