Obituary for Jimmie E. Brown
Jimmie E. Brown, 76, of Sardis, MS, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS. He was born on February 4, 1944 in California, to Alvena Carroll and Everett Taft. Jimmie was an excellent handyman, a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything. He loved a game of Chance and enjoyed listening to Elvis and country music.
He is survived by his family, which includes, three daughters, Honi Lee Brown of Decatur, IL, Wyndee Nicole Cain of Ash Port, AZ and Trini Elsie Brown of Lincoln, NE; two sons, Wayne Christopher Brown, of Kansas City, KS and Jimmie Everett Brown of Monticello, AR; three sisters, Alberta Cook of Sardis, MS, Linda Marie Davis of Clearfield, UT, and Barbara Chastain (Cory) of Mojave, AZ; two brothers, Ralph Carroll JR., of Golden Valley, AZ and Michael Carroll of Pomona, CA and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melody Sue Brown and his parents.
Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
