Obituary for Jason Ronald Goodwin
Jason Ronald Goodwin, 42, of Sarah, MS passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022.
Jason was born on February 12, 1980 in Clarksdale, MS to Linda Sue Cannon Goodwin and Ronald Dorr Goodwin. He was a 1998 graduate of Coldwater High School where he played varsity baseball, was a member of Future Farmers of America (FFA) and served with the newspaper club. Jason was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Brittney Hall Goodwin; four daughters, Brianna Goodwin, Kyndel Goodwin, Emma Goodwin, and Peyton Goodwin; and one son, Cole Goodwin; his parents, Linda Goodwin and Ronnie Goodwin, all of Sarah, MS; two brothers, Shane Goodwin of Durant, OK and Eric Goodwin (Bridget) of Senatobia, MS; and his grandmother, Mary Bailey of Lawton, OK. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Goodwin and Mr. Jerry Bailey.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 1pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 12pm - 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to LeBonheur Children's Hospital, 848 Adams Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103.
