Obituary for Hilda Antonia Castro (Perez)
Hilda Antonia Perez Castro, 87, passed away on November 7, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto, in Southaven, MS. She was born in Holguin, Cuba, on May 4, 1936, to Maria Luisa Perez and Miguel Angel Perez.
Hilda enjoyed flower gardening, collecting elephant figurines, was an avid reader and an enthusiast for Silver Sneakers at the YMCA in Olive Branch, MS. She was devoted to her family and adored her children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, which includes one daughter, Hilda Hoopes (Paul) of Hernando, MS; two sons, Felix Castro, Jr. of Southaven, MS and Robert Castro of Blairsville, GA; four grandchildren, Leah Harting, Lina Castro, Aren Castro, and Hannah Castro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Castro and her parents.
