Obituary for Greg A. Nobles
Mr. Greg A. Nobles, 56, of Senatobia, MS passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at his home.
Greg was born on February 26, 1963 in Memphis, TN. All of his life, he loved people and dedicated his life in service to others. He was a former deputy sheriff with the Desoto County Sheriff's Department where he worked in search and rescue and proudly served as a volunteer firefighter with Looxahoma Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Bett Baptist Church and attended both Bett and Looxahoma Baptist Churches. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known as a great cook. Greg enjoyed making friends and he never forgot anyone he met, all of whom will miss his friendship and love for others.
Greg leaves behind his loving mother, Elizabeth Nobles of Senatobia, MS, to cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at 2 pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home with Bro. Alvin Whitehead and Bro. Brad Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 - 2 pm.
The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the members of the Senatobia Fire Department for their assistance and friendship over the years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Looxahoma Baptist Church, 808 Lyles Rd., Senatobia, MS 38668 or to Bett Baptist Church, 2665 Bett Rd., Coldwater, MS 38618.
