Ginger Ann Lindley Rowland, 70, of Senatobia, MS, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born in Tallahatchie county on December 30, 1949 to Lillie Bell McGarrity and John H. Lindley.
Ginger was a lady of many interests and talents. She enjoyed gardening, was a wonderful cook and loved to can fruits and vegetables. Her abilities were endless! Her originality and creativity were evident in lovely flower arrangements she made, beautiful afghans she crocheted and blankets she quilted. Several years ago, she was owner and manager of Petals and Brushes in Senatobia, where she enjoyed sharing her creativity and ideas with others and assisted brides in planning weddings. She was honored when she was invited for one of her flower arrangements along with her picture to be on display in the Governor’s Mansion in Jackson, MS. Ginger was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memories is her family, which includes one daughter, Pamela Hill (Jamie) of Batesville, one son, John Hiraum Jason Rowland (Vanesa) of Senatobia, MS; four step-children, Virginia Thomas (Jody) of Senatobia, MS, Terrie Lynn Rowland of Tunica, MS, Edward Rowland (Tricia) of Sarah, MS, and Timothy Rowland (Henrietta) of Southaven, MS; eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Rowland, Sr.; one son, Chester Lee Rowland, Jr. and her parents.
