Don was one of my favorites and I will surely miss him. I have fond memories of our hunting trips. I would pick him up on many cold afternoons and we would go hunting. We would sit in a cold bean field and try to watch for deer, but mostly Don would tell me stories about his time in the service, living in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and the friends he had made while in the service. I particularly remember stories about his friend John McCain, Sr. Don loved his country and his family. He was so proud of his sweet Carolyn, his girls and their accomplishments.

This is sort of a 'voice from the past'...I was City Clerk in Sardis when your Mom - Ms. Causey - was with the Red Cross and had her office in the other end of mine, so I mostly know you guys because of 'association'...I loved Ms. Causey so much.. I can still hear her laughing with Mr. Charlie about some silly something that he came in the office telling. Just want you to know that Cecil and I send our condolences and prayers to you and your family at the loss of Mr. Donald....God Bless and hold you in His arms during the coming days of adjustment.
