Obituary for Danielle Elizabeth Cook
Danielle Elizabeth Cook, 37, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at her home in Coldwater, MS.
Danielle was born in Memphis, TN, on May 25, 1984, to Virginia Prosser Cook and Danny Cook. She grew up in Independence, MS and was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart in Olive Branch, MS. Danielle loved spending time outdoors on her farm, surrounded by nature and her cats; especially her favorite, “Miss Kitty”. Her favorite vacation was traveling to the mountains and lakes. She enjoyed collecting shoes, sea turtles and fairies. Danielle dearly loved her family and was a devoted sister to her brother, Trey, and a loving aunt to niece, Aurora and nephew, Kyler.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, which includes, one sister, Heather Buckley (Robert) of Hernando; one brother, Trey Poirier of Coldwater; one nephew, Kyler Buckley and one niece, Aurora Buckley; and her loving finance’ Robert Sterling. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Danielle's life will be held at Olive Branch Park Pavilion, 8877 College St., Olive Branch, MS, 38654, on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
