Obituary for Charles R. Harper

Mr. Charles R. Harper, 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Providence Assisted Living in Senatobia, MS. He was born in Gainesville, GA on February 15, 1933, to Fred and Claudine McNeal Harper.

Mr. Harper attended Arkabutla Baptist Church, in Arkabutla, MS, where was a member for twenty-one years. He was a kind, easy-going man and a good neighbor. Mr. Harper was a dedicated Christian and passionate about studying and reading his Bible. He enjoyed country music, playing the guitar, going camping, watching western movies and was an avid LSU Football fan.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, which includes his wife, Leah J. Harper; two daughters, Alicia Evans (Warren) of Burleson, TX and Marlena Franklin of Irvin, TX; one son, Mark R. Harper (Teresa) of Anna TX; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
