Obituary for Carl O'Neal Jr.
Carl O’Neal, Jr. 64, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis,
TN. He was born on July 7, 1959, to Betty and Carl O’Neal Sr.
Junior, as he was lovingly called, was known by everyone as a caring, generous person, who would gladly help anyone in need. He enjoyed listening to country music, drinking beer. and especially spending time at home with his Chihuahua, “Little Bit”.
He loved his friends and coworkers like family. Junior loved his job, at Pride of the Pond in Tunica, where he was employed for approximately 48 years. He was very appreciative of Mr. Bill Battle, who he considered a good friend and mentor.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family which includes his two brothers, David O’Neal (Mary Beth) and Gary O’Neal (Pam), all of Coldwater, and one brother-in-law, Billy Hollins. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Connie Hollins and Brenda O’Neal.
