Obituary for Bobby Norris Ray
Mr. Bobby Norris Ray, 72, of Sardis, MS passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, at Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS.
Mr. Ray was born on July 3, 1947 to the late Mary Elizabeth Weathers Ray and Jeptha Elihue Ray. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and loved to hunt and fish. He retired after serving 35 years as a Level 5 Lead Man with Alumax Extrusions in Hernando, MS. He was a kind and loving person who will be missed by his family and friends.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Kathy Lynn Ray of Sardis, MS; four daughters, Shelly Ray of Sarah, MS, Clarissa Pruitt of Hernando, MS, Janet Jaudon of Water Valley, MS, and Miranda Phillips of Hernando, MS; two sons, Scotty Ray and Gary Jaudon of Sarah, MS; one brother, Burt Potts of Pope, MS; Scotty Murphree and nine other grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his nephew, Kelly Mothershed; and his niece, Mary Lou Scallorn. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 11 am in Magnolia Cemetery in Coldwater, MS with Bro. Gary Jaudon officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ray-Nowell Funeral Home.
