Obituary for Beverly Swain (Campbell)

Beverly Campbell Swain, 70, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Methodist Hospital – Olive Branch.

She was born in Memphis, TN on December 5, 1950 to Elisabeth McNabb and Dr. Norman Campbell. Beverly was a great cook. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling with her husband, listening to live outdoor music, and dancing. Most of all, Beverly loved spoiling her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory is her family, which includes her husband, Fred Swain of Olive Branch, MS; one daughter, Amy Wooten Freeman (Davis) of Coldwater, MS; one son, Wiley Wooten (Melissa) of Hernando, MS; one stepdaughter, Shannon Williams (Charles) of Crawfordsville, AR; and seven grandchildren, Campbell Freeman, Katelynn Wooten, Landon Wooten, Leven Williams, Catherine Williams, Jack Williams, and Mary Sorrels Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Norman Campbell, Jr.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20,2021, at Memphis Memorial Park Cemetery. The family request that memorials be sent to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Ray-Nowell Funeral has been entrusted with arrangements.
