Obituary for Betty Louise Smith (Kopf)
Mrs. Betty Louise Kopf Smith, 91, of Amory, MS, formerly of Sardis, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at River Place Nursing Home in Amory.
Mrs. Smith was born on September 12, 1928 in Tate County, MS to the late Velma Lee Kopf and Thomas Lee Kopf. She was a member of the Sardis Church of Christ and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her absence will be felt and she will be missed dearly.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving family which includes her daughters, Ann Darby of Batesville, MS and Mary McDowell (Bubba) of Amory, MS; her son, Len Smith (Donna) of Sardis; six grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Billy Len Smith and her parents.
A private graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis, MS.
