Obituary for James Milton Stilwell
Mr. James Milton Stilwell, 78, of Water Valley, MS passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley.
Mr. Stilwell was born on August 3, 1941 in Pleasant Grove, MS to the late Clara May Moore Stilwell and Elisha Stilwell. He was a member of Sylva Rena Baptist Church and loved his family dearly. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his niece, Mary Ann Bonner (Thomas) of Water Valley, MS; and his great-niece and great-nephew, Sheryl Atkinson (Todd) and Dwain Bonner (Cindy), both of Batesville, MS. He was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Stilwell Shields; his great-niece, Debra Biggers (Arthur); and his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 2 pm in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 12 pm - 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made in Mr. Stilwell's memory to Sylva Rena Baptist Church, 17640 Hwy. 32, Water Valley, MS 38965 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
