Louis William Aven, 57, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at his home in Courtland, MS.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores, AL. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Aven is survived by his daughter, Anna Lauren Allen (Andy) of Rosswell, GA ; his son, William Peyton Aven of Hope, AR; his mother, Nancy Jane Foshee Aven of Courtland, MS; one sister, Carolyn Roberts (Michael) of Courtland, MS; and one brother Gerald Marvin Aven, Jr. (Debbie) of Courtland, MS. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Marvin Aven, Sr. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
