Mrs. Bonnie B. Hendrix, 81, of Pope, MS passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Tallahatchie General Extended Care in Charleston.

Mrs. Hendrix was born on June 29, 1937 to The Late Gertrude Durham Blount and Noah Blount. She was a former teacher's assistant with the South Panola School District in Pope, MS, and she was a devoted and faithful member of Pope Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Hendrix leaves behind her loving family which includes her husband of 62 years, Jamie William Hendrix of Pope; two sons, Michael Lance Hendrix (Diane) of Enid, MS and Timothy RanDale Hendrix (Deborah) of New Boston, TX; four grandchildren, Ashley Rene Wilson, Lance Hendrix (Lauren), Adam R. Hendrix, and Matt Hendrix (Brittany). She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services to honor her life will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019, at 10am in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home with Bro. Derrick Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, February 24, 2019, from 5-7pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Baptist Children's Village, The Salvation Army, or to Pope Baptist Church.
